Bombay Sapphire is based on the original Bombay Dry recipe,
inspired by Thomas Dakin in 1761,
which is the DNA of all Bombay jeans.
The composition of Bombay Sapphire is truly unique.
While for the creation of simple gin the herbs
are boiled in the distillate in order to achieve the desired aroma,
in the case of Bombay Sapphire the taste is created through a process
of steam extraction. The 10 precious herbs that we use
to create our gin are kept separately from the distillate
in perforated copper baskets and release their
aroma with the rise of hot steam.
The result; A complex aromatic spirit that
leads to a wider and more balanced aroma.
