The Lillet House was founded in 1872 in Podensac, a village south of Bordeaux, by Raymont and Paul Lillet, two merchants of wines, spirits and liqueurs. They created the first French vermouth-aperitif from Bordeaux wines and handmade fruit liqueurs. 85% Bordeaux wines (mainly Merlot) and 15% local liqueurs matured for 12 months in oak barrels are used as a base. Rich taste of vein and velvet black fruit, honey, orange and spices. Drink it in a glass of wine with ice and a slice of orange.
